Helen Louise (Meyer) Lutz, age 85, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Helen Lutz was born the daughter of Howard Phillip and Thelma Lucille (Brooks) Meyer in Raymond, IL on May 18, 1939.
Helen grew up going to school in both the Franklin and Jacksonville School districts. She completed her Practical Nursing Program in Jacksonville and earned her title as LPN. Mrs. Helen attended the Raymond Baptist church. She enjoyed the hobby of reading and loved motorcycles. Helen loved spending time with her friends, and they will all miss her dearly.
Mrs. Helen married Kenneth Dale Lutz Sr. on December 7, 1990, and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2001.
Helen is survived by her children Kimberly "Kim" (William) Crain of Auburndale, Florida, Marvin "Butch" Leon Fairfield Jr. of Taylorville, IL, and Tracy (Jason) Ransom of Jacksonville, IL; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson, her brother Harold W. (
