Jody Louise Weaver ('nee Cartwright), age 62, of Hillsboro, passed away February 25, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Weaver was born on December 25, 1962, in Litchfield, to her parents Jimmy and Doris (Compton) Cartwright of Walshville, IL.
Jody's passion in life was her dogs. She was a beloved member of the American Kennel Club (AKC) for many decades. She was honored to have her friend Sheila Giordano by her side to show their dogs together.
Jody married Michael Weaver on February 14, 2003, in Hillsboro, and he survives her.
Jody is also survived by her son Jimmy Hicks of Breese, IL, her granddaughter Ramie Dakota White of Gillespie, IL, as well as three great-grandchildren, Jordan Hope Ward, Casey Jane White, and Dakota White Jr.
Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her parents and son Justin Lee Hicks, who passed in 2002.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
